Terms and Conditions Nesto Prestige Automotive

In the event of failure within this warranty period, Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD commits to repairing or replacing the defective component only. Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD will accept no responsibility for out-of-pocket expenses such as but not limited to, hire cars, loss of earnings, towing charges or any damage resulting from the failure of a warranted component. All warranty repairs must be carried out by Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD or a Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD agent and any Third-Party repairs unauthorised by Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD will not be honoured.

Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD do not recommend the use of second hand parts but will fit them at customers request. It is important to note that we offer no labour warranty at all on fitment of second-hand parts. A repair cannot be considered warranty in the following circumstances.

If the failure is due to a non-associated component. If the failure is a result of any outside interference. If the failure is a result of using the vehicle whilst warning devices (such as gauges, warning lights etc.) are not working.

If failure is a result of not complying with service recommendations or weekly maintenance
checks.

With regards to Engine and Cylinder Head repairs warranty will not be considered if the heat tag devices are missing or show that excessive overheating has occurred.

In the instance of a repair involving a third party or sublet repairer, the warranty on that repair may be limited to the warranty provided by that repairer.

It should be noted that any vehicle modifications that alter the vehicle outside of manufacturers specifications, may put unnecessary strain on replaced componentry in some
cases causing premature wear. If failure of a replaced component is a direct result of a vehicle modification warranty will not be considered. With reference to Queensland vehicle safety Certificates, the issue of a Safety Certificate does not confirm that the vehicle in question is in sound mechanical order. It basically confirms that at the time of inspection the vehicle has passed an inspection as to the vehicle’s safety in accordance with Queensland Transports code of practice. When purchasing a vehicle, we strongly advise the purchaser seeks an independent pre-purchase inspection. If Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD has advised the customer of an estimated completion time for a repair; the following shall apply:

Whilst Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD will make every effort to have a vehicle completed by the estimated time, we will not be held liable for any loss or damage
whatsoever resulting from any delay that may be encountered. Whilst all care will be exercised by Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD whilst in custody of customers
vehicle, Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD will accept no responsibility for any damage or loss of property through any want or care on the part of Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD and its representatives strongly advise that all valuables are removed from the vehicle prior to dropping vehicle off. All parts fitted remain the property of Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD until paid for in full.

If a cheque is tendered in payment, the payment will not be deemed to have been made until the cheque has cleared. Nesto Prestige Automotive PTY LTD reserve the right to recover costs from all account customers that exceed 45 days. Please note that interest on all outstanding monies is charged at 11% p.a, calculated daily, plus recovery costs if required.
